Volume Two - UK

Sandwood Bay is the most remote beach on mainland Britain. You have to walk for over 4 miles across moorland to reach it. Being there has a mix of emotions from wonderment at its beauty to apprehension at its remoteness. Likewise the physical area is a strange mixture of landscape; moors and mountains behind, dark stormy seas infront and white 'exotic' sands inbetween. Then there are the whirling, shifting sands of the dunes and the rounded stranded pebbles scattered in clusters all over. It would have been impossible to capture all of these elements in one image but here I have tried with a few.
