Another image captured on our memorable day trip on the track towards Yala National Park. The track stopped at Okanda, which was really just a small collection of maybe five houses overshadowed by, unusually for a predominantly Buddhist country, a Hindu temple and a large mass of rocks. Not an outstanding arty photo but more of a memory. Here Phil surveys the remote, pristine forest below that runs right up to the coast and right into the distance. We'd seen elephants on the way so it made the view even more incredible knowing that there were wild ones down there amongst those trees.
