Travelling Light Photographic Images

I think the colours originally attracted me to capture this image. Then I looked closer. By careful cropping and concentrating on the smaller details rather than the bigger image that most people automatically 'go' for, it's created a more intriguing composition. It also reminds me of those aerial shots you see of remote Pacific islands and in that way it plays around with the viewers sense of scale. Another aspect of this image is the circular theme with the dry sand circled by the wet sand, circled by the sea.
