Volume Three - Portugal

I had gone to look at one of the many pottery shops that line the main highway along the south coast. The pottery inside had been on the whole uninspiring but then I’m not a great lover of shopping. However, just outside on the edge of the dusty car park was a collection of faded and worn pots surrounded by spontaneous flowers. These were not for sale but were by far, with the addition of the flowers, the most attractive of the displays from the pottery shop. I’m sure most visitors walked past them unnoticed in their eagerness to seek out the trinkets inside to take home as a souvenir of their holiday. I prefer photos.
