Apart from Buddhism and some aspects of Paganism, religion is a bit of a mystery to me. I am not religious or follow any particular faith but choose to take certain beliefs and live the life I think is right. I guess that is what most religions do but the difference is that I mixed it all up, always keep an open mind and never insist that my way is right. That said, I do feel sometimes drawn to certain religious places; Christian churches, Hindu and Buddhist temples, burial grounds and here on the top of a mountain in Ireland. Perhaps it was the stark white figures against the surrounding bleak landscape or maybe, as I often find in places of worship, it was the mere idea of strength of belief that drew me to this image, even if that particular belief is not one that I share.
