Volume Three - Ireland

One of my window series of photos that I add to over the years. There was a real sense of human presence here yet judging by the condition of the cottage, the occupants were long gone. I particularly liked the shredded section of curtain material draping through the broken window frame and blowing in the nagging wind. When I started to write this text, and probably because I was revisiting the atmosphere of the place when I reviewed the image, I started to see a woman on the other side of the window; mostly in the top right hand panel of the window facing sideways with her head turned slightly towards the camera. See her? Nope, probably just me then!

Long Gone
