I was just nipping around the west end of the beach to beat the encroaching tide when I noticed the sad little remains of someone’s sandcastles. It evoked golden beach memories from my childhood summers which I still desperately hold on to despite the advancing tide of age. Maybe we should all build sandcastles whatever age we are.
