Every summer on Crantock Beach, this buoy line appears. It is put down to keep people safe from the deeper water of the river that runs out from the Gannel. It is funny how something that indicates danger to most tourists, means summer is here for me. Kizzy, our family dog, also thinks that this buoy line is just put there purely for her as a long string of large play balls so this also reminds me of her visits and her sheer joy of coming to her ‘holiday home’ to play in her sandy playground.
