I’d decided to experiment with HDR images (High Definition Range). This involves taking several images of the same scene at different exposures and then superimposing them to get the best detail in all parts of the image. The results can sometimes appear as if they are painted rather than photographed. For my first experiments I ventured during my lunch breaks into the Victorian walled garden at work. This wonderful ramshackle greenhouse gave the most ethereal results once given the HDR treatment.
