Volume Three - Wildlife

From the seething mass of barking bodies in the elephant seal colony along Highway One, I noticed this particular seal. At first I thought it was simply scratching its nose but it remained in this position as if shading its eyes from the glaring midday sun. I also loved the wrinkle of blubbery flesh that was created around its neck in the process.
