The light was really fading by the time we took an after dinner stroll on the beach so I wasn’t expecting to get any shots. When I saw this bird, later identified by my sister, feeding on the ebb and flow of the wave line I really liked the silhouette and the colour of the water so I was pleased I had bothered to carry my camera.
