Nature is really weird when you start thinking about it. At first I thought of these as tails but really they are a form of feet, aren’t they? Essentially they ‘walk’ through water but are hopeless on land. Humans on the other hand (literally) have effective land feet but have to put on seal ‘feet’ to swim through water. See what I mean....weird. So basically I took this shot because I found the detail interesting and it got me thinking.
