Volume Three - Wildlife

We’d stopped to look at a seal colony just off of Highway One. There were hundreds on the beach and in many cases they appeared to be so closely packed that were practically on top of each other. The same could almost be said for the people that were crowded together on the viewing point overlooking the colony. People were taking wide shots of the colony and posing in front of it like it was a trophy to visually collect. They were kind of missing the point and the detail. I moved away as much as I could from the crowd and spent time searching the detail of these fascinating creatures.
