I hadn’t stumbled upon a native reserve but a place of peace away from the tall downtown buildings and grid locked traffic. There was graffiti on the faces of the totems but despite this they stood silent and defiant; a civilisation standing proud against the uncivilised society that has allowed them back this small pocket of stolen land.
