| It’s been dark in the valley for a while now. The low winter sun had deserted the lowland and crept behind the mountains. It was replaced by the twinkling of house lights, spreading like starlight over the valley floor. The lights sketched the bare treetops around in thin negative lines leaving them suspended in space against the dark valley sides. |
